WIP, a Box of Rocks & 3 at once!

This is what I've been working on. It's just a box of rocks, the tough part is that I still need to cut about twice again as many stones as you see here before I can tumble them to finished cabochons. If that seems like a lot of work it's just because IT'S A LOT OF WORK! But it will be worth it when completed. Seen here is a mix of mostly agates and jaspers. The first two cuts are made by hand. When I have about 4-1/2 lbs. of stones I can begin to tumble them. It's a multi-staged process with a thorough wash up between each tumble.
The other news is that I was featured in three ArtFire Collections in one day!
My Dragonfly sculpture, Chinese Writing Stone pendant, & Butterfly & Poppy sculpture all were featured yesterday in separate ArtFire Collections:

Jewelry Trees, New from Lunar Skies

These trees were a suggestion from a friend when she first saw my sculptures. I though it was a pretty cool idea, having some of your jewelry on display. After all you can't wear all of it all the time, and you know you can never have too much jewelry!

Man in the Moon Necklace, Ocean Jasper and Sterling Silver

I previewed this piece recently at Creating the Hive as a work in progress. It's finished now, and I'm pretty pleased with the result.

Man in the Moon Necklace, featuring a very unique Ocean Jasper cabochon and Sterling silver moon complete with craters and a star filled sky. Chain is hand made sterling silver 23" long.

When I cut this stone I knew immediately what it would be. It has a bubbled druzy edge forming the moon's nose. One of the orbs in the ocean jasper forms the man in the moon's eye. To call this piece one of a kind is quite an understatement. Posted on Etsy & Artfire.
